POTSDAM – The St. Lawrence County Planning Board meets to consider amendments to the Town of Canton Rural Residential Zoning Law regarding commercial growing and raising chickens at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 11 at Potsdam Town Hall, 18 Elm Street.
The Canton Town Council is considering changes to ordinances regarding space and permit requirements for small-scale agriculture in areas that are zoned for residential use.
Proponents are urging those favoring agriculture in rural residential zones to attend and speak during the public comment session.
