CANTON -- The St. Lawrence County Office for the Aging and County Council of Senior Citizens is accepting nominations for the 2016 St. Lawrence County Senior Awards, including Senior Citizen of the Year, Outstanding Contribution by a Senior Citizen, and the Jacqueline Sears Volunteer Award.
The Sears award nominee can be of any age. Anyone who knows an exceptional senior who volunteers in the community may nominate them. For information on award qualifications and to receive nomination forms, contact the Office for the Aging at 386-4730.
The deadline for nominations is Feb. 12. Award winners will be announced at the May Fest.
