St. Lawrence County lost 200 non-farm jobs in July compared to the same month in 2018, while the number in neighboring counties was either flat or slightly increased.
According to the state Department of Labor, there were 38,000 non-farm jobs in St. Lawrence County last month and 38,200 in July 2018.
In Franklin County, there were 18,800 non-farm jobs last month and also in July 2018, DOL said.
In Jefferson County, there were 43,800 non-farm jobs last month, up from 43,700 in July 2018, DOL said.
