The St. Lawrence County League of Women has placed legislative agenda brochures in all St. Lawrence County libraries.
The 2014 brochure lists league priorities including campaign finance reform, election reform, natural resources, and the passage of the women’s equality agenda.
Other League positions include ethics, transparency, individual liberties, health care, the judiciary, state finances, social and transportation policy.
The brochures include web addresses, phone numbers and street addresses of NYS legislators and provide information on how to contact the conference leaders and where to go for bill texts and status, floor votes, etc.
