POTSDAM -- North Country girls aged 7 to 10 are invited to explore careers in science, technology, engineering and math through a new Career Exploration Series offered by the Center for Lifelong Education and Recreation at SUNY Potsdam. This five-week program is on Saturdays from 1 to 2 p.m. in February and March. Each session will offer a one-hour workshop featuring a different STEM discipline with hands-on activities and a chance to speak with women professionals. Anthropology, computer science, engineering, chemistry, biology and mathematics will be highlighted. Registration is required for the program, which costs $35 to attend three sessions, or $59 for all five.
