St. Lawrence County is to get $748,000 to buy six buses and for operating assistance under a Federal Transit Administration Grant.
A total of $59.3 million in state and federal funding is going toward upstate New York transit authorities and small urban, rural, tribal and intercity bus public transportation.
The funding is intended for purchase of new buses and related equipment, support for transit infrastructure improvements, employment services and operating assistance in rural areas.
