Following a cool Tuesday with some rain, St. Lawrence County will get progressively hotter each day until temperatures reach a predicted 82 degrees on Saturday.
The National Weather Service predicts about a 20 percent chance of showers around the county in the early part of Tuesday with temperatures in the high 60s, and a mostly cloudy night in the high 50s.
Tuesday and Wednesday are both forecast to be mostly cloudy with temperatures in the mid 70s Tuesday and high 70s Wednesday, NWS said. Respective nighttime temps are predicted in the high 50s and low 60s.
Friday brings a high of 81 and a 40 percent chance of showers with a partly cloudy night around 64 degrees.
Saturday is forecast to be mostly sunny and around 82 degrees, NWS said.

Tuesday - A slight chance of showers before 2pm, then a slight chance of rain between 2pm and 3pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 69. Light and variable wind. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Tuesday night - Mostly cloudy, with a low around 57. Light and variable wind.
Wednesday - Mostly sunny, with a high near 74. North wind 3 to 6 mph.
Wednesday night - Partly cloudy, with a low around 57. Northeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Thursday - Mostly sunny, with a high near 79. Northeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the afternoon.
Thursday night - Partly cloudy, with a low around 62. Light and variable wind becoming southeast around 5 mph after midnight.
Friday - A 40 percent chance of showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 81. Southeast wind 3 to 5 mph.
