Gas prices throughout St. Lawrence County are well above the national average of $3.50 per gallon according to Gasbuddy.com.

According to the website:

• Ogdensburg prices ranged from $3.85 per gallon at the Ford Street Stewart's Shop, to $3.89 at the Champlain Street Valero station.

• Potsdam prices were as low as $3.77 per gallon at Maple Street Wilson Farms and as high as $4.09 at Martin’s Maple Street Service.

• Canton prices ranged from a low of $3.81 per gallon at Stewart's Shops on E. Main and Gouverneur Streets, to a high of $3.89 per gallon at the East Main Street Citgo.

• Massena prices ranged from as low as $3.79 per gallon at Route 310 Valero to as high as $3.93 at Stewart’s Shops on Route 56 and North Main Street.

• Gouverneur prices ranged from $3.84 cents per gallon at W. Main Street Nice N' Easy to $3.93 at E. Main Street Stewart's shop.

In New York State the average price has jumped from about $3.66 to 3.87 per gallon in the past month, according to the website.
