As a weak cold front moves southward from Quebec and through the North Country this afternoon, an isolated shower or thunderstorm is possible across some areas, otherwise dry conditions are expected through the weekend, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Skies will be be partly sunny today with a high near 82, NWS says. Tonight will see partly cloudy skies with a low around 59.
An upper level disturbance approaching from the Great Lakes will bring our next chance for
widespread precipitation, with periods of showers expected Sunday night through Monday night.
Highs Sunday will be in the high 70s with an occasional shower after 7 p.m. on Sunday evening, the service says. The chance of precipitation is 80 percent.
The overnight low Sunday night will be around 61.
The workweek begins with an 80 percent chance of occasional showers and much cooler, as temps are not expected to reach 70.
