A high pressure ridge will shift east today pushing temperatures back above normal for
today and into this upcoming weekend across St. Lawrence County, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Sunny skies and temps near 65 are expected today, the service says. There is a 30 percent chance of showers, mainly after 10 p.m., with a low around of 58 overnight.
A few light rain showers are possible over Northern New York Saturday and the approaching storm system could produce gusty southerly winds and a line of showers on late Sunday afternoon into the evening hours with temperatures in the 70s.
Highs on Saturday will be near 66 with an overnight low of 61, NWS says.
Sunday will be unusually warm with a high of 75 degrees in the forecast.
The forecast through the middle of next week is as follows:
Saturday
A 40 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 66. Southwest wind 7 to 9 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Saturday Night
Showers likely, mainly between midnight and 3am. Cloudy, with a low around 61. Light southeast wind. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Sunday
A chance of showers before 10am, then showers likely after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 75. Southwest wind 9 to 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Showers likely, mainly before 9pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 45. West wind 9 to 17 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
