WEST CARTHAGE -- Several St. Lawrence County fire departments placed in the 120th Northern New York Volunteer Firemen's Association Convention parade recently.
Placing first in Class A with music was the Massena Fire department with the Massena Central School band.
Placing first in Class A without music was Potsdam Fire Department, with Gouverneur placing third.
Class B without music had Colton taking first place and Louisville placing third.
The Massena Central School band placed second in the band competition.
