The St. Lawrence County Conservative Party has endorsed Brooks Bigwarfe for St. Lawrence County Sheriff and Sandy Santamoor for County Clerk.

"Our first candidate has been serving the citizens of this great County for the past 32 years, having been hired by the great Sheriff Keith Knowlton. He has demonstrated great success through various roles within the Sheriff’s office including but not limited to Investigations, Juvenile and a strong proponent of the K-9 Program," Conservative Party Chair Hank Ford said in a prepared statement.

"This man has earned tremendous accolades from those that know him including our current Sheriff, Kevin Wells. We of the St. Lawrence County Conservative Party are proud to announce the endorsement of Brooks J. Bigwarfe and look forward to Brooks being our next Sheriff here in St. Lawrence County," he said.

Ford said the Conservative Party has also endorsed Sandy Santamoor for county clerk.

"Our Second Candidate that we would like to announce has over 8 years as a Deputy Clerk to our current County Clerk Mary Lou Rupp," he said. "This candidate has come highly recommended by many and we think she will do a tremendous job. We of the St. Lawrence County Conservative Party are proud to announce the endorsement of Sandy Santamoor for County Clerk."
