POTSDAM -- The St. Lawrence County Conservative Party plans to meet in May to interview candidates prior to deciding on endorsements for the November 2016 elections.
Conservative Party members will meet at Sergi's Banquet Hall, 10 Market St., at 9 a.m. The meeting was originally planned for March but has now been rescheduled, according to Megan Martin Morley, executive secretary of the county Conservative Party.
"To our voters: It is a matter of public information that the SLC Conservative Party has not endorsed any candidates for the upcoming November 2016 election -- planned, announced, or otherwise," she said in a prepared statement.
Candidates will be interviewed in the morning. For more information, contact Morley at slcconservative@gmail.com.
