CANTON -- St. Lawrence County Community Action Angels hopes to provide to individuals in need with assistive medical equipment.
The charitable organization has two pieces of equipment to be donated to persons in need. Anyone in need of either a hospital bed or a small scooter, but cannot afford one should contact the Angels.
Recipients must not qualify to receive one through insurance, Medicaid, or Medicare.
The Angels are unable to provide transportation or moving services. This must be provided by the recipient.
Anyone interested can find out more by calling Alicia Murphy at 386-1102. Requests may also be emailed to caangels@slccdp.org.
Recipients will be selected based on greatest need.
Community Action Angels is a volunteer-driven initiative that strives to assist St. Lawrence County residents in meeting needs that they cannot meet through other resources.
