CANTON -- St. Lawrence County Clerk Gavin M. Regan is encouraging the public to renew their vehicle registration at one of the four St. Lawrence County Department of Motor Vehicle offices instead of online or by mail.
“It is very important that everyone renews their registrations locally apposed to either doing it online or mailing them into the Utica DMV office,” he said.
St. Lawrence County losses out on the 12.7 percent fee for each renewal handled by mail or online, he said.
St. Lawrence County has DMV offices is Canton, Gouverneur, Massena, and Ogdensburg.
