CANTON -- The executive director of the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce, Brooke E. Rouse, was recently elected to serve a one-year term as vice president of the Adirondack Regional Tourism Council.
The council is a consortium of seven counties that share resources to promote economic development through tourism. The council combines funds to promote the Adirondack brand nationally and internationally through marketing and promotion.
Rouse has served on the board since June 2014.
“About one-third of our county is in the Adirondack Park. We have an incredible asset that needs to be promoted and cherished,” Rouse said, referring to St. Lawrence County.
