POTSDAM – St. Lawrence County Assistant District Attorney David J. Park, 25, Potsdam, has been charged with driving while intoxicated, according to state police.
Police say they detected the smell of alcoholic beverage emanating from him.
He failed field sobriety tests on the roadside and was arrested for DWI, troopers said.
He was processed at the Canton barracks, where he provided a breath sample with a blood alcohol content of .11 percent, police said.
Park was also cited for operating a motor vehicle without tail lights and moving from lane unsafely, according to troopers.
He is to appear in Potsdam Town Court on May 18 at 10 a.m.
