The National Federation of Independent Business has endorsed Republicans in all of the St. Lawrence County Senate and Assembly races.
In North Country senate races, the NFIB endorsed Republican incumbents Sen. Joseph Griffo for the 47th district, Sen. Patty Ritchie for the 48th district and Elizabeth Little in the 45th district.
In the Assembly, the NFIB endorsed Janet Duprey for the 115th district, Kenneth Blankenbush for the 117th district, Marc Butler for the 118th district and John Byrne for the 116th district, all Republican incumbents representing parts of St. Lawrence County.
NFIB made a total of 82 endorsements of candidates seeking office in the state Assembly and Senate.
“This election is critical to the economic present and future of New York,” said Mike Durant, NFIB/NY State Director. “Broadly addressing the complicated issues that small businesses face is essential and each of these candidates has shown a commitment to advocating strongly on behalf of small business.”
These endorsements are based on member input, candidate questionnaires and the 2013-14 NFIB/NY judgment of their voting records.
