The 2016 Fine Art Up North calendar, an annual publication of SLC Arts, is available for purchase.
The spiral-bound wall calendar celebrates artwork of regional artists and the proceeds benefit SLC Arts.
Each month of the 2016 calendar features an 8-by-10 inch reproduction of a different artist’s work including watercolors, oil paintings, and digital photography.
A committee considered nearly 100 image submissions by SLC Arts members, and selected the top 13 images to be featured for the twelve-month calendar and cover.
The 2016 Fine Art Up North calendar is available for $10 at several local businesses and organizations.
In Canton, it is available at Nature’s Storehouse, the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce, and The TAUNY Center.
In Parishville, people may buy it at the Town of Parishville Town Offices.
In Potsdam, it is at Maple Run Emporium, the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce, and the Potsdam Food Co-op.
Calendars may be purchased on-line through the SLC Arts website for $13.80 each, which includes sales tax and shipping costs, at www.slcartscouncil.org, “2016 Calendar.”
Artists who are interested in being featured in the 2017 calendar need to submit images by May 20, 2016 at www.slcartscouncil.org, “Artist Opportunities.”
