CANTON – St. Lawrence County legislators have approved an agreement with the Development Authority of the North Country to host GIS information.
On Monday, the legislature agreed to pay $6,400 over a five-year-period to DANC to host the county’s geographic information system’s data.
Under the agreement the county will pay $1,200 for 2016 and 2017, $1,300 for 2018 and 2019 and $1,400 for 2020.
The funding will come from the County Planning Office’s budget. The operations committee approved the resolution in December.
DANC recently agreed to similar deals for Ogdensburg and Massena.
