CANTON -- The St. Lawrence County AARP chapter 2831 recently donated $100 to the county Office for the Aging to help fund that agency’s Annual Holiday Baskets program.
The baskets will be delivered in December to those in need.
The Office for the Aging provides service and advocacy for county residents 60 years and older. Programs and services include nutrition centers and home-delivered meals, home care services, family caregiver support, senior community service employment program, medical transportation, legal services, and health insurance information counseling and assistance.
The Office for the Aging is open Monday-Friday, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
