POTSDAM -- The St. Lawrence Child Care Council presents Jeanine Fitzgerald, from the Fitzgerald Institute, to discuss “resiliency strategies so every child can navigate life's stormy waters without capsizing.”
The event is slated for Friday, May 13, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Sheard Literacy Center at SUNY Potsdam.
Admission is free.
The discussion will also cover how to create safe harbors for challenging times and is intended for parents and professionals.

Fitzgerald will present “ways to offer hope to those children that seem unreachable and to those that work with them.
It will be held at SUNY Potsdam in Kellas Hall 105 on Saturday, May 14.
The fee is $60 per person or $20 for students.
