MASSENA -- The St. Lawrence Centre is trying to get people to email Christmas Tree Shops and show interest in them opening a big box store in the mall.
“As many of you know we are working very hard on getting the big box retailers into the mall to go along with our theater and arena. One of the ones I would like to see is Christmas Tree Shop. Please send a note to the following email to let them know you want them here too! If we show these companies our community will support a new store opening it will help them make a decision when choosing the right market to go into. Email, share it with your friends, and let's turn this mall into a community effort!” mall officials wrote in a Facebook post around 9 a.m. Friday.
They say people who want to participate in the effort can email Bargains@Christmastreeshops.com
The St. Lawrence Centre has been struggling to keep the mall full over the past few years as more and more businesses moves to online sales.
