St. Lawrence Centre, Massena Humane Society join forces to promote animal adoptions

MASSENA – St. Lawrence Centre and Massena Humane Society held the tenth event at Bark Ave. & Meow Place on Saturday, June 6, where shoppers had the opportunity to view a variety of animals, and adopt.

Heidi Bradish, director of the Massena Humane Society, said, “We brought a variety of kittens as well as two adult felines to the last Bark Ave. & Meow Place event, and one adult cat and 2 kittens were adopted during the five hour event. In total 27 animals, 7 dogs and 20 cats, have been adopted during the ten Bark Ave. & Meow Place events we have held at St. Lawrence Centre.”

The Massena Humane Society will be at St Lawrence Centre with adoptable dogs and cats ready for adoption at Bark Ave. & Meow Place, in the space next to Hallmark, the first Sunday of every month from noon to 5 p.m. It will be open again on Sunday, July 11.
