POTSDAM -- The St. Lawrence County Branch, AAUW, elected a new leadership team at a recent meeting at SUNY Potsdam.
Pictured are Educational Opportunities and Legal Advocacy Fund VP Michele Pinard, Brasher Falls, Membership VP Lisa Wilson, Norwood, installing officer Melissa Guardaro, AAUW-International Director of Valley Cottage, branch President Becky Gerber, Potsdam, and Treasurer Jennifer Ball, Parishville. Also elected at the meeting was Secretary Carolyn Schwarz, Potsdam.
The newly elected officers join Program co-VPs Liliana Trevizan and Viki Levitt of Potsdam as the leadership corps of the branch.
Membership in the St. Lawrence County Branch is open to anyone who supports the mission of AAUW, which advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, and research. AAUW’s commitment to educational equity is reflected in its public policy advocacy, community programs, leadership development, conventions and conferences, national partnerships, and international connections.
