St. Lawence County weekend forecast: Sunny Saturday, thunderstorms possible Sunday

This weekend in St. Lawrence County is forecast to bring temperatures in the 80s with chances of rain Saturday night and Sunday.

Friday night is forecast to be in the high 50s with clouds.

Saturday, according to the National Weather Service, will be mostly sunny with highs in the low 80s. Saturday night brings up to 40 percent chances of showers with temperatures dropping to the mod 60s.

Sunday brings up to 40 percent chances of showers with 30 to 40 percent chances of thunderstorms in Massena, Potsdam and Star Lake. Temperatures are predicted in the low 80s. Sunday night is forecast to be partly cloudy with temperatures in the high 60s.

Monday is predicted to have temperatures in the mid 80s and up to 50 percent chances of thunderstorms.

Friday night: Increasing clouds, with a low around 59. Southwest wind 5 to 9 mph becoming light and variable in the evening.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 82. Southwest wind 5 to 11 mph.
