MASSENA -- Due to outflow restrictions at the Moses-Saunders Power Dam due to tugboat salvage operations in Cornwall, the speed limit on Lake St. Louis will be restricted on Wednesday.
Between buoys A30 and A40, vessels with a draft of 22 feet or more will be limited to 10 knots upbound and 12 knots downbound.
Vessels with a draft of 22 feet or less will be restricted to 12 knots upbound and 14 knots downbound.
The restriction will be removed “once conditions are favorable,” according to the Great Lakes Seaway System.
