POTSDAM – The annual Special Olympics Summer Games are set for Saturday, May 12 at SUNY Potsdam.
Hosted by Special Olympics New York – North Country Region, 175 athletes are expected to participate in track, field and basketball events.
Opening ceremonies begin at 9:45 a.m. in the Maxcy Hall field house, with competitions starting immediately afterwards.
Special Olympics New York – North Country Region serves 350 athletes from St. Lawrence and Franklin Counties through 30-plus training programs.
