Some sunny skies on the horizon later this week for St. Lawrence County residents

A 40 percent chance of snow showers is expected today, mainly between noon and 4 p.m. Skies will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 24. West winds of 3 to 6 mph are predicted. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch is possible.

Tonight there will be 20 percent chance of snow showers before 9 p.m. Skies will stay mostly cloudy, with a low around 16.

Sunday partly sunny are forecast, with a high near 33.

Sunday night will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 20. A southwest wind of 6 to 11 mph is predicted, with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Monday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 24 and a northwest wind around 6 mph.

Monday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 11 and a light north wind.

Mostly sunny are forecast again on Tuesday, with a high near 24 and a light north wind.

Tuesday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 11 and a light northeast wind.

Wednesday mostly sunny skies are called for, with a high near 25. Conditions change later that night to party cloudy skies and a low around 15.

Thursday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 34. Thursday night will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 25.
