Snow, sleet, rain to fall on St. Lawrence County as temps drop again into single digits tonight

More winter weather is expected to hit St. Lawrence County today as snow, sleet and rain are forecasted for today with wind chill values of -5 overnight, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

Rain, snow, sleet is expected before 1 p.m. today and then rain and snow is predicted. The high is expected to be around 35 degrees. Total daytime snow and sleet accumulation of less than one inch is possible.

Snow is likely before midnight, then a chance of snow showers, mainly before midnight and 4 p.m., the service says.

The overnight low will be around 8 with wind chill values of -1. Winds will be 11 to 15 mph with gust as high as 28 mph, NWS says.

New snowfall accumulation of 1-3 inches is possible tonight.

Friday will be clear and cold with highs near 16 and wind chill values of -7, the service says. The temp will drop to 4 Friday night with the wind chill remaining at around -7.

Mostly sunny, with a high near 16. Wind chill values as low as -7. West wind around 11 mph.

Friday Night

Partly cloudy, with a low around 4. Wind chill values as low as -7. Southwest wind 5 to 7 mph.

Saturday

A 30 percent chance of snow showers after 1pm. Increasing clouds, with a high near 33. Breezy, with a southwest wind 8 to 13 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 31 mph. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Saturday Night

A 50 percent chance of snow showers. Cloudy, with a low around 27. Southwest wind 11 to 17 mph.

Sunday

A 50 percent chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 32. West wind 5 to 8 mph becoming calm in the morning.

Snow showers likely. Cloudy, with a low around 30. Calm wind becoming southwest 5 to 9 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

A 50 percent chance of snow showers. Cloudy, with a high near 33. West wind 13 to 15 mph.
