POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Recreation Department has acquired snowshoes for off-site rental and for free for on-site use at Sandstoner Park.
There are sizes for all ages. Off-site rental is $3 per pair or $10 for a family per day. ID is required for rentals.
Three "Learn to Snowshoe" events have been set up in conjunction with the local ADK chapter. They are on Jan. 15 and 29 and Feb. 12. More info: Recreation Office, 265-4030.
