A mix of snow and rain showers are likely across the St. Lawrence Valley this morning and temperatures will continue to drop throughout the week, feeling more like a North Country winter.
Snow showers this morning left a dusting of snow across parts of St. Lawrence County and more snow is possible, likely before noon, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Today’s high will be near 37 degrees with light winds of 11 to 16 mph, NWS says. The chance of precipitation is 70 percent with a total accumulation of less than one inch.
There is a chance of rain and snow showers before 8 p.m. tonight and then chance of snow showers after 11 p.m.
29 degrees is the overnight low, NWS says.
A slight chance of snow is possible on Sunday with highs forecasted near 34. Lows Sunday night will be around 18.
Temps will continue to drop through the week with highs in the 20s and teens by late week, NWS says.
