Snow showers are expected to decline this afternoon, but wind will create wind chill values as low as -1, according to the National Weather Service.

Despite significant snowfall across the county this morning, further accumulation isn't expected over the weekend, the weather service says.

Several schools in the county cancelled or delayed today as blowing snow hindered visibility and made for snowy road conditions.
