St. Lawrence County small business owners interested in reducing health care costs, absenteeism costs, and workers’ compensation claims, and in providing employees with a wellness program, can benefit from a webinar on Nov. 17 and repeated Nov. 22 from WorkWell Investments, an earned income venture of the St. Lawrence Health Initiative.
WorkWell Investments can provide comprehensive worksite wellness programs for employers of fewer than 75 people in St. Lawrence County at a subsidized cost.
The Health Initiative says that research shows that a high quality comprehensive worksite wellness program provides employers with strong return on investment. This webinar will share ROI data from national and local businesses, and explain why and how to become involved in the Healthy Small Business Project.
The webinars will be held 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Nov. 17 and 2 to 2:45 p.m. Nov. 22.
To register for either webinar, log onto workwellinvestments.com and click on the Healthy Small Business Project tab and then click on the selection for the date you wish to participate, or call Carol at 261-4760 ext 223 to obtain more information.
