CANTON - St. Lawrence University will support the expansion and renovation of Canton-Potsdam Hospital’s facilities at its E.J. Noble site in Canton with a donation of $100,000 to the Hospital Foundation’s “Constructing Healthier Communities” Campaign, payable over the next four years.

Canton-Potsdam Hospital is completing the largest construction/renovation project in its history. The $15 million project includes the construction of a medical office building next to the existing E.J. Noble Building in Canton, plus renovations to that building.

University President William L. Fox said, “Our Board of Trustees admires and appreciates the first-rate work of Canton-Potsdam Hospital’s leadership and medical staff, especially the contributions they make to healthier North Country and St. Lawrence University communities.”

In addition to being the closest full-service health care facility to St. Lawrence, Canton-Potsdam Hospital staffs the university’s on-campus health services office, in the Torrey Health and Counseling Center.
