Friends of St. Lawrence University Men’s and Women’s Hockey Booster Club member Phil Spadaccini, recently presented the Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center Auxiliary with an abundance of stuffed plush bears for the Auxiliary’s “Bring a Bear to Show You Care” program.
The program enables each pediatric patient to receive a bear to help them through their stay at the Medical Center.
This is the fourth year in a row that the Booster Club has collected bears to donate to Claxton-Hepburn, Massena Memorial, Make a Wish, and Hospice.
Approximately 400 bears were collected at a recent hockey game.
