SLLBOCES retirement dinner held in Ogdensburg

OGDENSBURG -- The St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES Retirement Dinner was held Thursday June 4, 2015 at Northwest Career and Technical Center in Ogdensburg.

The dinner was held in honor of 21 BOCES employees who have retired or will retire this year.

SLL BOCES Board President Roger Bennett welcomed retirees and their guests and Assistant Superintendent for Instruction Ronald Burke directed attendees through an evening of good food and recognition for the many years of dedicated service. Retirees for the 2014-15 school year include, (pictured) Robert Brothers (2), Christine Smith (33), Cathy Brody (25), Alice Goodspeed (25), Diana Eno (20), Rose Tallon (26), Lucinda Hart (28), Robert Niederer (20), and Nancy Avery (32); (missing from the photo) Diane Brown (15), Gerald Patterson (31), Audrey Parkhurst (11), Cheryl Greene (36), Gerald Swalnick (30), Judith Seymour (25), Carl Jones (30), Patricia Polniak (25), Toni Shaw (6), Kathleen Doyle (12), David Timm, Jr. (30), and Gail Gotham (10).

In addition to the 21 retirees, Patricia Gengo was honored for her 9 years of service to the BOCES Board of Education. BOE President Roger Bennett and Vice President Dana Smith presented Ms. Gengo with a framed certificate of honor.

The appetizers, dinner, and desserts were prepared and served by the Northwest Tech Culinary Arts students led by Instructor and Chef, Mr. Steve Putman.

Congratulations to all of the retirees, and the BOCES thanks you for your years of service and dedication.
