The National Weather Service says there is a slight chance of snow showers in St. Lawrence County today and tomorrow, but little chance of any significant accumulation.

The forecasters put the chance of any rain or snow at only 20 percent in northern and central St. Lawrence County, and only 30 percent in the south, this afternoon and tonight.

High temperatures won't get much above 40 today, and dip to 20 to 25 tonight.

Tomorrow, it will be partly sunny with highs near 40 and moderate southwest winds. In the south, toward the mountains, a slight chance of snow showers will linger until about noon tomorrow, and clouds will remain as highs reach about 37 degrees with sometimes gusty west winds.

Friday night, clouds remain, temps will be around 26 to 30 degrees, and winds will come from the south with some gusts.

It will warm some on Saturday, with highs between 47 and 52 degrees, as clouds continue to dominate. Winds will be from the south to southwest at about 10 to 15 mph with gusts as high as 31 mph.

A chance of rain or snow returns Saturday night and will linger on Sunday.

Early next week, clouds and the chance of snow are forecast Monday night through Wednesday.
