MADRID -- Slic Network Solutions, a local provider of phone and high-speed Internet services, will host an open house to share information about its fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) solutions.
The event will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 29, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Madrid Library, 11 Church St. Madrid.
Installations of high-speed Internet and phone service have already begun in most of the Madrid service area with the remaining portions becoming available Feb. 4.
The Chase Mills service area opened last month, and the Lime Hollow service area will be opening up in late February. Residents of all three service areas can get info at the event.
Slic Network Solutions will have a high-speed Internet connection available at the library that evening and attendees are welcome to bring their laptops or mobile devices to take the service for a “test drive.”
There will be handouts that include service area maps, pricing information, and examples of equipment used for a typical residential installation. Customer Service Representatives will be available to answer questions and process applications.
Area residents who are not able to attend the event but have questions, can call Slic Network Solutions at 877-754-2266 (press 1 for customer service), or by visiting our website at www.slic.com.
Residents can order service now to get the earliest possible installation date by going to www.slic.com/OrderNow as with high demand, installations are currently being booked nearly three weeks in advance.
