COLTON -- Northern New York Audubon and the Laurentian Chapter of the Adirondack Mountain Club are sponsoring a ski and birding trip Sunday, Feb. 5 at the Leonard Pond trail.
They will meet at about 9 a.m. at the trailhead on Route 56 2.5 miles north of the Route 3-Route 56 intersection.
Participants will cross-country ski five miles round trip on a wide, level trail in mixed forest and boreal habitat. They will end the trip at the famous Backwoods Inn for lunch.
