Partly sunny skies today with highs in the mid 50s – a few degrees colder in the mountains -- will give way to a fast moving low pressure system approaching the North Country, bringing gusty winds, clouds and a mix of valley rain showers and mountain snow showers this evening through tomorrow morning.
Winds could gust into the 35 mph range this afternoon.
Much colder temperatures will filter in behind the front for Friday into Saturday. Another round of showers will be possible Saturday night through Monday as a warm front moves in from the Great Lakes region.
