POTSDAM — People who shop local at various local businesses will have the chance to win Potsdam Chamber of Commerce gift certificates and other prizes worth more than $200.

“Shop Small” runs Nov. 26 through Dec. 31, and the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce is coordinating a “Holiday Passport Adventure” during the promotion.

Customers can have their “passports” stamped each time they shop at one of the participating businesses for chances to win. The “Holiday Passport Adventure” flier appears this week in copies of the Nov. 23-30 North Country This Week distributed in the greater Potsdam area, and additional copies are available at the chamber office, 24 Market St.

The more you shop, the greater the chances of winning. Each stamp earns an entry into the drawing.

The drawing will be held Monday, Jan. 2.

Thrift Store, Harris Medical, 3 Bears Gluten Free Bakery, Maple Run Emporium, University Bookstore, Brick & Mortar Music, Misty Hollow, SLC Arts Council, Potsdam Food Co-op, T&R Wines & Liquors, Downtown Sport & Toys, Chilly Delight, Crafts & Such, Best Friends Thrift Store, Northern Ice & Dance, Teresa’s Tots (Madrid), Potsdam Agway, Jernabi Coffeehouse, Isle of You, Village Diner, Today’s Hair & Day Spa, Plaice 2 Meat, Adirondack Fragrance & Flavor Farm (Parishville), Beast Fitness, The Front Porch, Willow Tree Florist, Summerhaven Pool & Hearth, Bicknell Building Supply and MVP Sports.
