MACOMB -- The cause of a fire that damaged a house and destroyed a shed and a camper in Macomb Sunday night is still under investigation.
No one was at home when the fire broke out, to property owned by Walter Zeller at 824 County Rt. 8.
Gouverneur Fire Chief Steve Young said that a shed and a camper were declared a total loss. There was damage to the house and a second outbuilding.
Investigators are still looking into the cause of the blaze.
Gouverneur firefighters were called out at 8:49 p.m. and were back in service at 10:43. Oxbow volunteers were on standby.
