MORRISTOWN – Four minor boys have been charged with crimes including possession of stolen property and menacing with a weapon in two separate incidents in Morristown.
Three boys ages 9, 11 and 15 from Morristown and Ogdensburg are charged with possession of stolen property.
The boys, a 9- and an 11-year-old from Morristown and a 15-year–old from Ogdensburg, are charged with one misdemeanor count each of fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
The arrests come after a state police investigation of a complaint in Morristown May 27.
Troopers said the 15-year-old was charged July 7 and the other boys were charged yesterday.
They were issued appearance tickets.
An 11-year-old boy has been charged with menacing with a weapon and a Morristown woman is accused of failing to control a minor.
State police received a complaint Tuesday night and investigated the alleged menacing.
The boy has been charged with a misdemeanor count of second-degree menacing: weapon, and Trina M. Petrie, 33, is charged with a misdemeanor county of failure to exercise control of a minor.
Both were issued appearance tickets yesterday.
