POTSDAM -- Potsdam police have arrested a seventh suspect in a round of drug arrests that netted six other suspects May 12.

Andrew J. Stoddard, 20, of Hudson Falls, a SUNY Potsdam student, and charged him with fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance today shortly after 9 a.m.

Police said this was part of the Drug Task Force investigation and arrests made during last week’s round-up of six other defendants.

Stoddard was arrested for the sale of Xanax pills to undercover police informants, police said.

He was arraigned in Potsdam Village Court and released to the supervision of probation authorities.

Six other SUNY Potsdam students were arrested last week, accused of distribution and sale of ecstasy, oxycodone, crack cocaine, a stimulant, and marijuana.
