St. Lawrence County students in grades K-6 can have an essay published through the New York State Senate's Thanksgiving Day Creative Celebration.
Sen. Patricia Ritchie R-Heuvelton, who represents northern St. Lawrence County, is asking students to submit essays, poems and artwork representing what they are thankful for this year.
All artwork, poetry and essays will be published in an online, free-to-download book; available on the New York State Senate website after the close of the program.
Students will also receive a certificate from Senator Ritchie for participating.
Entries must be submitted electronically at www.nysenate.gov by Nov. 29.
