State Senator Joseph Griffo has again been honored with the Circle of Friends Award from the New York Farm Bureau, the agricultural advocacy organization.
“I will continue to work with their leadership and advocate for the many hardworking farm families in my district and those statewide” said Griffo.
“Agribusinesses are one of the most vital force in New York State’s economy, and will be even more vital as farmers expand their role in renewable energy.”
New York Farm Bureau President Dean Norton says that the award is based on each legislator’s voting record on issues of importance to the bureau and other evidence of legislative support, including sponsorship of bills that Farm Bureau has either supported, or opposed.
Griffo has received the recognition for each year that he’s been in the Senate.
