MADRID — The Seaway Valley Senior Citizens are seeking new members.
The Seaway Valley Senior Citizens first meeting was held in 1972. It was originally named the Waddington-Madrid Senior Citizens Club.
Over the years Seaway Valley members have enjoyed many activities including trips to various places, summer picnics and monthly luncheon meetings, which are held alternately in Louisville, Madrid and Waddington.
Public speakers are always a part of the meetings. Members also collect items for several food pantries and the Office for the Aging.
Residents from any location wishing to join the Seaway Valley Senior Citizens are invited to attend a luncheon meeting. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at noon.
