MADRID -- Seaway Smash Volleyball Club is teaming up with Madrid-Waddington Central School to offer the second year of youth volleyball for children in kindergarten-6th grades.
The elementary program introduces students to the game of volleyball and offers instruction by coaches, staff & members of Seaway Smash’s volleyball teams.
The program will be at Madrid-Waddington Central School’s elementary gym starting Sept. 9, and running each Saturday through Oct. 21. The session for kindergarteners-2nd graders will be at 9-10:15 a.m. each Saturday, and 3rd-6th graders will be at 10:30 a.m.-noon each Saturday.
There is a $30 per player entry fee for students participating. Students will receive a t-shirt with their registration along with their two months of instruction.
This elementary program is a continuation of Seaway Smash’s mission to provide opportunities to players to learn and play volleyball.
Currently, it is the only opportunity that players have to play volleyball before modified.
