Following a cold snap, St. Lawrence County residents can expect more seasonal daytime temperatures this weekend, though tonight's lone is expected reach single digits.
According to the National Weather Service, Saturday's high could reach 24 degrees.
Sunday will be colder with a high of 15, but things will warm up throughout the week with Tuesday's high reaching 40 degrees, according to the weather service.
No snow is expected until Monday.
A seven day forecast follows:
Today: Cloudy early, then gradual clearing, with a high near 24. West wind 9 to 11 mph.
Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 5. Wind chill values as low as -2. West wind 3 to 7 mph.
Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 15. Calm wind.
Sunday Night: A 30 percent chance of snow after 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 11. Northeast wind around 6 mph. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Monday: A 50 percent chance of snow. Cloudy, with a high near 27. Northeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the morning. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Monday Night: Snow showers likely, mainly after 1am. Cloudy, with a low around 24. Southeast wind 5 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
Tuesday: Rain and snow showers likely before 10am, then rain showers likely between 10am and 5pm, then rain and snow showers likely after 5pm. Cloudy, with a high near 40. Southwest wind 10 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
